The Team of L'Imparfait
Alain, our Maître d’Hôtel/Sommelier, works closely with Catherine to ensure the smooth running of the L’lmparfait. Alain has been the backbone of the restaurant for 14 years. Having worked worldwide, his language skills have become invaluable and he will give you the warmest of welcomes in English, Spanish or Italian! His experience is vast but was notably gained at L’Hôtel des Bergues in Geneva and the Victoria Palace in Paris.
Hervé joined the L’Imparfait in 2007 as our Sous Chef and after four years, during which he developed a very close working relationship with the kitchen team, he became our Head Chef and runs a very happy ship. After working for several years in Paris at La Chaumière he returned to his home town of Bergerac to work at Restaurant Sauvagine and the Hôtel Restaurant La Flambée, before coming to L’Imparfait.
